Mental Health Officer

Maximize Your Organization’s Time, Mental Health Benefits, and Resources!
Dedicate a qualified Mental Health Professional to provide early, ongoing and customizable solutions.

There is an epidemic in our culture of working until you drop, and unfortunately, it’s often praised as hustle, grit, and determination to get a job done. Those are great qualities to have as an employee, manager, or leadership team; however, as humans, not computers, we get overwhelmed by thinking we can handle everything on our own.

The impact of the COVID-19 pandemic and recovery to a ‘new normal’ on employee mental health is unprecedented and undoubtedly one of the biggest challenges facing workplaces regardless of size, geography or industry. In today’s world, workplaces understand that employee connectivity, innovation and collaborations are critical for their business to succeed. However, these very factors are threatened when employees are feeling vulnerable and struggling to be at their best at work, in their personal life or dealing with an unforeseen crisis.

However, there is hope in the form of a Mental Health Officer!

For Employees:  Bringing on a Mental Health Officer (MHO) shows employees that their mental health and well-being are a company priority. A Mental Health Officer provides a safe place for employees to share the issues contributing to their poor mental health and well-being. Having a trusted MHO available is an upstream approach allowing employees to engage their mental health benefits early, mitigating the downstream negative impact of their work and life situations.

For Leaders:  A Mental Health Officer provides coaching and support for your managers and leaders to share their concerns in a safe and confidential environment. Having a trusted advisor has been shown to increase management competency and confidence. The same has been seen in Executive consultations and solutions.

For the Organization:  A Mental Health Officer provides a competent resource for employer-specific response to crises or trauma affecting employees and organizations.  A MHO can also support your mental health initiatives and strategy as well as help manage and maximize your health and wellness provider programs.
